What is Operation Tungsten?

Operation Tungsten is a deployment of Eboracum® Loss Prevention operatives to prevent and detect crime against businesses.

The current operation runs in York city centre.

The deployments are not specifically planned which means the team can act on information received quickly and surprise would-be criminals who come to York to commit offences against businesses.

The team are have extensive loss prevention experience and will carefully assess incidents as they unfold, helping businesses to decide on the most appropriate action to take.

Operation Tungsten is provided FREE of charge to help protect our historic city, and keep businesses flourishing by preventing criminal loss during the festive season.

Supportive & Supported

We operate with support of, and on behalf of businesses working along side other services such as the Street Rangers, Security officers and the Police.

Taking Action

Experienced professionals are tracking down travelling criminals visiting York to commit crime against businesses and apprehending them when crimes are committed.

We tenaciously pursue those who commit crimes against businesses.
